Situated at the far end of Charlotte street (the Las Vegas strip of London restaurants) Tsunami is actually a rare gem on the London sushi scene.
Often overlooked by the more popular and much more expensive Roka (situated just 50 meters down the street), Tsunami is great venue for a quick bite after an afternoon of shopping. Although seating is limited and you can hear the receptionist answer the phone from pretty much any seat on the floor, the decor, along with the food is of high quality.. Although I must admit my knowledge and taste for sashimi is limited, the soft shell crab rolls, which come with a chilli mayonnaise are a must...
The menu its self is reasonably priced with a large selection of specials on offer. Two can easily eat here with a few glasses of wine and a beer for around £50..
Summary: Not one for a first date, however for a quick bite in a nice part of town, defiantly worth a punt..

- The Media Pig
- I am a self confessed 27 year old Media Pig, who for the past 5 years has been working as an advertising consultant based in London. As well as advising clients on the latest technology to advertise their brands, one of my favourite perks of the job allows me to entertain clients at some of London's top restaurants... Over the years I have been lucky enough to visit nearly all of the culinary delights London has to offer and along the way, while not only seen my palate mature, I have become a complete Media Pig, having no time for poor food or service! Please follow me week by week as my food journey continues and I hope you find my advice insightful! Regards, The Media Pig
