About Me

I am a self confessed 27 year old Media Pig, who for the past 5 years has been working as an advertising consultant based in London. As well as advising clients on the latest technology to advertise their brands, one of my favourite perks of the job allows me to entertain clients at some of London's top restaurants... Over the years I have been lucky enough to visit nearly all of the culinary delights London has to offer and along the way, while not only seen my palate mature, I have become a complete Media Pig, having no time for poor food or service! Please follow me week by week as my food journey continues and I hope you find my advice insightful! Regards, The Media Pig

The Oxford - Kentish Town

A personal favourite of mine and one I've never actually taken clients to, however, located just a short walk from my flat and being one of the only places in Camden where you can get a decent pint of Heineken, I can often be seen propping up the bar on a Sunday afternoon.
The Oxford is a gasteropub with an adventurous, however unpretentious menu that doesn't try to hard to show off. The pub itself is mixture of odd furniture, tall ceilings and an open plan kitchen with dedicated dining room for around 30 guests..

The menu not not only has a great selection of starters, mains and deserts (both sweet and savoury), it also differentiates between lunch, dinner and dedicated Sunday lunch menu (roast Kilravock leg of Pork, personal favourite of mine).
The food and service is of high standards and is competitively priced, at around £6 per starter and £13 per main. With a friendly clientele and staff the Oxford is a must to visit if you in the area..

Summary: Good food and friendly atmosphere... only negative is the lack of outside space..
